Legal Terms -Derecognition
Derecognition is the procedure by which an organization gives notification that it is ending its union recognition. The employer no longer engages in collective bargaining with employees; instead, terms and conditions that were previously the focus of collective bargaining are negotiated individually or with groups of employees that are not affiliated with trade unions, leading to the creation of personal contracts. Employees still retain the right to form unions.
