The division of the High Court that is responsible for noncontentious probate matters and family proceedings. It was referred to as the *Probate, Divorce, and Admiralty Division until 1971. It is responsible for hearing certain appeals, including those from the newly established Family Court. The President is the title of the Division's main judge.
