Proceedings at the Family Court, often known as the Family Division of the High Court. In 2003, a Family Procedure Rule Committee was formed to provide standardized procedural standards. In 2014, a single Family Court was established to handle family law cases across several locations. The Family Division of the High Court now focuses on more basic cases, but still hears cases involving wards of court, foreign issues, and complex situations. It also hears appeals from the family court.
