• Nonfunctional lesions: infection (tuberculosis, fungi), infiltration (leukemia, lymphoma), replacement (amyloidosis), hemorrhage, bilateral metastases • Functional lesions: adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)– dependent Cushing’s syndrome; congenital adrenal hyperplasia; pheochromocytoma; Conn’s syndrome, hyperplastic variety; micronodular adrenal disease; idiopathic bilateral adrenal hypertrophy
