The Action of Chlorpromazine includes as an  antiemetic. and to treat psychosis

Method of Operation 
A competitive antagonism of dopamine D2 receptors in CTZ that is reversible throughout expression. The antagonistic effect of the drug on other receptors, such as adrenoceptors and histamine receptors, is responsible for some of the adverse effects.
