​Pharmacology - Clarithromycin 
The action of clarithromycin is called bactericidal.

Method of Operation 
It does this by attaching to the ribosomes of bacteria, which then prevents them from producing proteins.
It kills bacteria.

Oral activity that is active. the liver is responsible for the metabolism (with a significant first-pass metabolism). Three to four hours is the half life.

Use in Clinical Settings 
H. pylori infection is the root cause of a significant number of peptic ulcers.
people who are allergic to penicillins should have metronidazole substituted for them.
One of the most effective treatments is known as triple therapy, which consists of combining two antibiotics with either a proton pump inhibitor or an H2 antagonist. Patients who are allergic to penicillins may be able to obtain metronidazole as an alternative to amoxicillin.

Adverse Effects
Nausea and diarrhea are examples of gastrointestinal distress.
