Pharmacology - Cytarabine
Action of Cytarabine Pyrimidine analogue that is metabolized in the cell to the trisphosphate which inhibits DNA polymerase.given intrathecally, subcutaneously, or IV.Thorough haematological observation is required. Application in Clinical Practice Leukemia myeloblastic acute. Side Effects myelosuppression. GIT dysfunction; ataxia of the cerebellum.
