When taken orally, it is absorbed by skin cells that are growing and attaches to keratin. Half-life ~24h. Application in Clinical Practice Fungal infections of skin, hair and scalp; trichophyton infections in children. Negative Outcomes Headache and GIT disruptions are uncommon.
