How Piperazine Works
In worms, it turns off the signal that tells the muscles to contract. The paralytic worms are excreted alive in the faeces. Given orally.
Use in Clinical Settings
Roundworm infection, the common kind.
Precautions to Take
GIT disturbances. Rash, bronchospasm. Some people develop CNS symptoms, e.g. dizziness, paraesthesias.
