Historical and Physical Assessment

During the assessment, observe the patient's overall look, demeanor, mood, and mental process. Inquire about the onset of forgetfulness and the specific aspects of memory that the patient is unable to recall. Is he capable of acquiring new knowledge? What is the duration of his memory?
