Obstructive sleep apnoea Airway narrowing:
Low-set thick soft palate, longer-than-normal uvula
Tongue falling backwards when sleeping supine
Enlarged tonsils, nasal blockage (e.g. allergies, deviated septum)
Increased Upper-airway soft-tissue laxity and muscle weakness
Increased Age, obesity, alcohol/tranquilizers
