KembaraXtra-Psychology - autogenic training
Autogenic training (autogenics) is a psychotherapy method teaching self-hypnosis and biofeedback-based self-regulation for stress control. It uses a graded sequence of mental exercises focusing on heaviness in limbs, warmth in limbs, heart rate, breathing, warmth in the upper abdomen, and coolness of the forehead to promote relaxation. It was developed in Germany from the 1930s to 1950s and popularized by Johann Heinrich Schultz (1884–1970).
