KembaraXtra-Psychology – Bell’s Palsy
Bell’s palsy is a neurological condition involving temporary paralysis of muscles on one side of the face due to inflammation of the facial nerve. Symptoms may include drooping of facial features, difficulty closing the eye, and altered taste sensation. Although often frightening in onset, most cases resolve partially or fully over time. The condition illustrates the functional role of cranial nerves in motor control and facial expression.
