A type of apraxia, typically caused by a lesion in the corpus callosum, wherein a hand (commonly the left) is perceived as alien to its owner and executes acts autonomously, yet not in opposition to the owner's intent. This indicates disconnection syndrome linked to abnormalities in the posterior corpus callosum and parietal lobe, representing a type of agnosia.
