KembaraXtra- Computer Terms – 3-D or 3D
Short for three-dimensional, 3-D describes objects, images, environments, or data representations that incorporate all three spatial dimensions: length, width, and depth. In computing, 3-D is used to characterize graphics, simulations, models, and interfaces that visually or mathematically represent depth, making them more realistic than flat, two-dimensional counterparts. The term also applies to technologies such as 3-D audio, which simulate spatial positioning to create the illusion that sounds originate from specific locations around the listener.
