KembaraXtra-Computer Terms – autoassociative:
Autoassociative refers to a concept used in data analysis, clustering, and artificial neural networks in which the same set of variables is used both as predictors and as target outputs. In autoassociative neural networks, each pattern presented to the system serves simultaneously as the input and the expected output. This approach allows the system to learn patterns and relationships within the data itself. Such networks are commonly applied in pattern recognition tasks, particularly in situations where incomplete or noisy data must be reconstructed or completed based on previously learned patterns.
