In multimedia and film production, a blue screen is a technique used to combine two images into one. Subjects or objects are filmed in front of a blue background, which is later replaced with a different scene or environment during editing.
This method allows filmmakers to create special effects by placing actors into settings that may not exist in reality. The blue background is removed digitally, making it appear as though the subjects are part of the new scene.
