KembaraXtra-Computer Terms – boot sector:
The boot sector is a specific portion of a disk reserved for the bootstrap loader of an operating system. It contains a small program written in machine language that is responsible for initiating the loading of the operating system.
When a computer starts, it reads the boot sector to begin the boot process. This program then loads additional components of the operating system into memory, allowing the system to continue startup.
