​Pharmacology - Carbamazepine 
The action of carbamazepine is for the reduction of neuropathic pain.

Method of Operation 
This reduces the amount of nociceptive transmission that occurs from the site of nerve injury by inhibiting the opening of neuronal voltage-gated Na+ channels.Ingestion of the medication. P450 metabolite that is active.

Use in Clinical Settings
In the treatment of neuropathic pain, the second or third-line treatment. Used mostly in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy and trigeminal neuralgia.

Allergies and Reactions 
Insomnia, headache, mental confusion, and motor abnormalities are some of the symptoms.
