When taken orally, the half life is greater than fifteen hours.

Adverse Effects 
Weight gain, acne, hot flushes, amenorrhea, and a masculinization of the voice (hirsutism, deepening of voice, etc.) are examples of the moderate effects that are commonly experienced.
