Pharmacology - Epoetin
To stimulate proliferation and differentiation, it attaches to receptors on committed erythrocyte progenitor cells and causes them to become activated. Injections can be administered intravenously or subcutaneously. Use in Clinical Settings In order to alleviate anemia produced by cytotoxic anticancer medications, to treat anemia caused by chronic renal failure and AIDS, and to avoid anemia in premature infants, the purpose of this medication is to treat anemia. GIT disturbances and hypertension are examples of adverse reactions.
