The action of gabapentin 
Neuropathic pain alleviation is achieved.
Method of Operation 
Binding to the alpha 2-delta-1 and alpha-2-delta-2 subunits of voltage-activated Ca2+ channels (P/Q or N-type) is responsible for the effectiveness of the medication in the treatment of neuropathic pain. This is accomplished by preventing the entry of Ca2+ and the exocytosis of the transmitter glutamate from pain nerve terminals.

Oral admin. Excreted without any changes. Half life is six hours.

Use in Clinical Settings
Both postherpetic and trigeminal neuralgia are present. Additionally, pregabalin is utilized for the treatment of painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy.

Allergies and Reactions 
Sedation, vertigo, and unsteadiness are all symptoms.
