In order to hinder cell proliferation, irinotecan binds to topoisomerase I and inhibits it.Given by i.v. infusion Application in Clinical Practice Combined with other agents, colon and rectum metastases. Potential Side Effects GIT disturbances, interstitial pulmonary illness.
