​Scopolamine 
Actions 
Suppresses secretions such as saliva, bronchial secretions, perspiration, and gastric acid, among others. Heart rate that is rapid. The smooth muscle is relaxed, which results in the suppression of peristalsis, pupillary dilatation, and paralysis of accommodation, among other possible effects. CNS activities include antiemetic and amnesic effects.

Mode of Action 
At each and every muscarinic receptor, there is a competitive reversible antagonism.

Absorption / Distributionn / Elimination 
For oral administration, the half life  is 4 hours. The effects can also be applied as a transdermal patch, and they persist for two to three days.

Adverse Effects 
In addition to drowsiness, symptoms include constipation, dry mouth, urine retention, impaired vision, and elevated intraocular pressure.

Use in clinical settings 
Mostly used for treating motion sickness. Amnesia, inhibition of secretions and of bronchoconstriction, and reduction of post-operative vomiting are all things that can be accomplished with this adjunct for anesthesia. urinary incontinence  also can be treated.
